Covid-19 Policy for Women’s Business Club

The spread of COVID-19, commonly referred to as the coronavirus, is an exceptional event that’s become a top priority of Women’s Business Club.  The safety and wellbeing of our team and the community we work in is, and always will be, our highest priority.

With the impact of the COVID-19 outbreak being felt by businesses across the UK, we are writing to update you on preparations we are taking for the potential implications of this significant challenge.

Our staff are already working remotely which enables us to continue with business as usual and allows us to mitigate the risk of spreading the virus. However, the vast majority of our activity is the events that we run across the UK in public venues. We are therefore taking the following specific actions:

  • Wherever possible, we are offering client meetings to be online rather than face-to-face and avoiding any physical contact, such as handshakes in any meetings that continue on a face-to-face basis.
  • We are following all government guidelines with respect to travel.
  • ** We have made Virtual Business Networking with immediate effect to ensure that our meetups will continue to run uninterrupted. So regardless, you can book with confidence into your nearest club, we will continue to meet and support you through this difficult time in person for as long as possible and then online if the need arises.

We do not currently foresee any impact on the quality and continuity of our service, it will just take a different form, but should the situation change we will notify you immediately. We believe the actions we have put in place are appropriate for the current levels of risk, they are in constant review.

We will be in contact as the situation evolves. Please don’t hesitate to get in touch should you have any questions or concerns.
