Interview with Tina Jassi, leader of Leeds Women’s Business Club

What do you do?

I’m a wife and a mother of 3. I also have a dog. I work as a GP receptionist as well as doing administrative jobs on the side. I am the owner of saints&sinners, which is a clothing business that I started in the pandemic 2020.

What is your vision for 2021?

My vision for 2021 is to be able run my business full time as this is something I am passionate about and hopefully able to leave my day job. After the previous year we have had, I want to not take life for granted and take every opportunity I can.

What made you become a Women’s Business Club Leader?

I joined Women’s Business Club, because I feel like as women we all understand and help each other every way we can.

Share a quote/positive motto that inspires you!

“Work hard and great things will happen”

This is something my dad used to say.

How are you looking to inspire/support others?

I feel like my knowledge of what I’ve been through and what makes me strong will help to inspire others who have been through similar experiences as me. To add, I think I would be able help to support individuals who have been through these experiences.

What’s happening at your club over the coming months?

We are currently setting a launch date – watch this space!

Favourite memory?

I have many favourite memories however, being with my family and spending quality with them is something I always appreciate.

Inspirational person and why?

My dad is my inspiration. He has taught me everything I know today, which makes me want to do him proud as he inspires me to be a better person everyday.
