“I have journeyed far and wide in my career as a designer, from Italy to India, Paris to the Philippines, Sri Lanka, Hong Kong and beyond. I have been honoured to design alongside inspiring crafts people, working tirelessly to continue traditions such as block printing, hand embroidery, batik, dip dye and tie dye techniques and weavers who create magic at their looms. Many garments have the crafts person’s heart and soul worked into it. These pieces have a story to tell.
I was named by the high street guru, George Davies, as the most prolific designer on the High Street. A career spanning many years I have designed collections for many stores, Next, Monsoon, Laura Ashley, Anokhi, Daniel Hechter in Paris, Per Una and more. I have won numerous awards for design, including the Christian Lacroix Award for International Linen Design, and I worked as an adviser to the EU in Brussels to promote good design for Indian manufacturers.
With this wealth of experience, I bring to you NoLoGo-chic. An online store delivering to you beautiful clothing, each carefully designed and sourced, with its own unique detailing, in gorgeous natural fabrics which you will grow to love more and more. And, because it’s summer somewhere in the world, there is a range of holiday clothing available all year round.
NoLoGo-chic clothes are cut to fit real women. The detailing goes beyond fashion. Manufactured at sources I have known and enjoyed working alongside for years.
Alongside our best selling Easy Jersey Dress, the collection is continuously developing, new styles are being added frequently. Very soon our hand block printed nightwear in gentle colours of milky white, powder blue and sleepy pink will be launched. Every garment wrapped in its own embroidered cloth bag.
